Map of the two sides of Lake Anna

Most people don’t know that Lake Anna has a private Side (in Green) and a public side (in Blue). Private side is only accessible by owners and guests who physically own land on that side of the lake. The public side is open to anyone with multiple marinas and boat launches available to the public. The public side water temperature is generally anywhere from 10-12 degrees cooler on average. The private side is the water that is fed through the power plant and expels into the private side, which tends to elongate the season for using the water. We have a lot of professional water skiers/wake boarders/fishermen that seek out properties on the private side becuase it makes their seasons a lot longer.
